Tradition Trees is committed to protecting the environment and helping build a sustainable tomorrow for the planet.  Our Treecycle program collects Christmas trees after the holiday season and turns trees into recyclable, biodegradable mulch.  A real Christmas tree is the right environmental choice every holiday season.

Consider:
Christmas Trees support the environment by absorbing carbon dioxide and other gases and emitting fresh oxygen.  Scientists estimate an acre of Christmas trees emit enough oxygen for sixteen people.

For every tree harvested a grower plants three seedlings.

Artificial Christmas trees are petroleum based products eighty five percent of which are manufactured in China. 

Artificial trees have a shelf life of five years and being neither biodegradable nor recyclable end up in landfills.
